Comment Policy

Fictionaria welcomes thoughtful discussion. Comments are a privilege, not a right, and we keep this space readable.

Last updated: February 16, 2026.

What we allow

  • On-topic responses to the work (craft, interpretation, questions, good-faith disagreement).
  • Citations and references that help the discussion.
  • Corrections when something is wrong (typos, attribution issues, factual errors).

What we remove

  • Spam, SEO drops, affiliate links, or repetitive promotion.
  • Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing, or incitement.
  • Sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or illegal content.
  • Impersonation, misinformation shared as fact, or bad-faith engagement (trolling).
  • Anything that materially derails the discussion.

Moderation

Comments may be held for review, especially from first-time commenters or when anti-spam tools flag a message. We may approve, edit (for minor formatting or to remove private information), or remove comments at our discretion.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for what you post. Do not share sensitive personal information. If you quote another work, keep quotes short, attribute properly, and link to the source when possible.

License for your comment

By submitting a comment, you grant Fictionaria a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute your comment on the Site and in backups or archives, solely for operating and promoting the Site.
