Fictionaria exists to publish work with permission and to credit creators clearly. If you believe something on this Site infringes your copyright, we want to fix it quickly.

Unless otherwise stated, all fiction and articles published on Fictionaria are the property of their respective authors. Fictionaria publishes this work under agreement or permission from the rights-holder.

How to request a takedown

Email contact@fictionaria.com (or use /contact/) with the subject line “Copyright / Takedown Request” and include:

  • A link to the page on Fictionaria you’re concerned about.
  • Your name and contact information.
  • A clear description of the work you believe is being infringed (and where the original can be found, if available).
  • Why you believe the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury where applicable, that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

We may ask for additional information to verify your request. If the request is valid, we may remove or disable access to the material, and (when appropriate) notify the author/uploader.

If you believe content was removed by mistake

If you are the author or rights-holder of content removed or disabled due to a takedown request and you believe the removal was a mistake, email contact@fictionaria.com (or use /contact/) with the subject line “Counter Notice” and include any supporting details.
